P-Luv's Helping Hands Mission
Our mission is to provide human resources and assistance to disadvantaged children, at-risk youth, homeless citizens, low-income families, displaced veterans, individuals overcoming addiction, and those transitioning back into the community from incarceration. Our resources include food, clothing, personal hygiene items, counseling, guidance, job placement information, and financial support when available.
How Sleep Tight Tonight Got Involved?
Sleep Tight Tonight (STT) partnered with P-Luv’z during a challenging time when companies were struggling to stay open, and business sustainability was difficult. An STT Ambassador met Paula Love, and the rest is history. Paula is one of a kind—she never thinks about herself but always has the interests of others at heart. The partnership has been mutually beneficial. P-Luv’z has been a tremendous help to STT in their mission to spread kindness worldwide. P-Luv’z has connected STT to resources and shared their connections, significantly impacting STT’s work. Much of what STT is able to do in Belize is thanks to the selflessness of Paula Love.
Saving Grassroot Organizations
Running a business can sometimes get hard. Unexpected occurrences, unplanned events, pandemics, loss of staff, and juggling personal life can become overwhelming. This was the situation P-Luv’z faced when STT got involved. Paula Love, the CEO, has been doing amazing work in the Inland Empire for many years. She cares for those who have no way of taking care of themselves and is there for those who have temporarily fallen on challenging times. She is full of love and compassion for everyone!
The Importance of Grassroot Organizations to the Community
The Covid-19 pandemic created overwhelming challenges, and Paula found herself struggling to stay afloat. It is organizations like P-Luv’z that keep the community alive. They look out for the little guys, the forgotten, the lonely, the abandoned, and those whom the government often overlooks or creates hurdles for. Without grassroots organizations like the one Paula leads, many would suffer in innumerable ways. Local food and clothing banks, tutoring services, after-school support for working parents, job preparedness, ensuring babies have milk and diapers, and assisting struggling mothers—this is where grassroots organizations shine! They are often unheralded and unseen but work consistently to ensure no one is left out or left behind. They keep the community engaged and help those who often need it the most. We can’t survive without grassroots organizations, nor do we want to. That’s why STT stepped in to help P-Luv’z continue to make a difference.
Since then, Paula and her organization have been a huge blessing to STT, helping care for the less fortunate in Mexico and Belize. Thank you, Paula!
